Delete your Beamline account

This page explains how to delete your account for Beamline Systems — the Beamline app for Android and iOS, and beamlinesystems.com — which is operated by MINAC GROUP LLC. It covers the steps to take, what gets erased, what we keep, and for how long.

1. Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest route and it needs nobody's permission:

— Step 1. Open the Beamline app and sign in.

— Step 2. Go to Profile (the last tab).

— Step 3. Tap Delete my account.

— Step 4. Confirm with your password.

Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period, no email to send, and nobody at Beamline has to approve it. Your account is disabled at once and can no longer be signed into.

2. If you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to the app or to your phone number, email [email protected] with the subject line Delete my account, from the email address on the account. We will verify your identity before acting on the request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law — in practice within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

The personal information that identifies you is removed from our active systems immediately and irreversibly:

— Your name — permanently replaced with a random, non-identifying placeholder.

— Your email address — permanently replaced in the same way.

— Your phone number — erased.

— Your saved recipients — the names and phone numbers of the people you send to are overwritten.

— Your sign-in credentials — the account is disabled and the password can no longer be used.

— Your recurring sends and Family Plans — cancelled automatically, so nothing is charged again.

Beamline never stores your card number, so there is none to delete. Card details are collected and held by our payment processor, Stripe; we keep only a customer reference. To have your details removed from Stripe as well, contact us and we will request it.

4. What is kept, and for how long

Two categories of record survive deletion, and both are kept in de-identified form — no longer linked to your name, email, or phone number:

— Transaction records (what was bought, when, and for how much) and wallet ledger entries. Payment services are generally required to retain transaction records for a period of years for anti-money-laundering, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. A card dispute can be raised up to 120 days after a payment, and sometimes longer, so the record has to outlive the account. Our ledger is append-only and is retained indefinitely as a financial and audit record.

— Your support conversations. Messages you exchanged with our support team in the app are kept, because they are the record of a complaint or a refund and are often the evidence in a payment dispute. They are no longer attached to your name or email once the account is de-identified. If you would like them removed as well, email us and ask — we will do it by hand.

— Records we are required by law to keep. Where a specific legal, tax, or regulatory obligation applies, we keep what that obligation requires for as long as it requires it, and no longer.

This is the same limited exception recognized by the deletion right in every US state comprehensive privacy law: information needed to comply with a legal obligation may be retained. It is described in full in our Privacy Policy, sections 6 and 8.

5. Before you delete

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Any active Family Plan or recurring monthly send is cancelled for you as part of the deletion, so you will not be charged again — you do not have to cancel them first. Any airtime, data bundle, or eSIM you have already sent is unaffected: it belongs to the person who received it, and deleting your account does not take it back.

6. Questions

Email [email protected] and a person will reply. If you want to know what we hold about you before deciding, ask for a copy — that is a right you have, and it is described in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
